Tooth Gems
For the application, simply show us where you would like your crystal(s) and we place it.
There is no drilling required, making this treatment
semi-permanent and 100% reversible. It is fast and an easy procedure allowing gems to last anywhere between 2 to 24 months, depending on aftercare and lifestyle.
The beauty of Tooth Gems is that they can be subtle or as extreme as you wish, you'll be turning heads either way and making a bold statement.
Just like tattoos and piercings, tooth gems are designed and customized to suit you!
PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS
PRIOR TO YOUR TOOTH GEM SERVICE
Please eat before you come. We advise not to eat for at least one hour after the gem(s) has been placed.
To ensure longevity, we also advise to avoid highly acidic foods and drinks 24 hours prior to the application.
Please come with your teeth brushed and flossed prior to your service. You do not want to brush your teeth for 12 hours after your appointment.
It is best to avoid electric tooth brushes for the first 24 hours.
AFTERCARE
Avoid touching or playing with your tooth gem after your application.
Please refrain from eating 1 hour after the tooth gem has been applied.
Avoid consuming highly acidic drinks for 24 hours post treatment.
Please stay away from solid foods for the first 24 hours, soft foods only!
Brushing should be avoided for the first 24 hours to allow the adhesives to fully cure. It is also recommended to avoid using an electric toothbrush for 24 to 48 hours post treatment.
After 24 hours, continue necessary oral hygiene habits such as brushing and flossing to avoid plaque build up around the gem. This will also prevent the enamel around the gem from yellowing
CROWNS, CAPS, PORCELAIN VENEERS AND COMPOSITE VENEERS
Tooth gems do not adhere to crowns, caps, porcelain veneers or composite veneers for a long period of time and that tooth gems are best placed onto a real tooth to ensure longevity.
TOOTH ADHESIVE
The tooth gems we offer are 100% authentic, lead-free Swarovski Crystal. Once the tooth gem has been applied, there may be some remaining adhesive surrounding the tooth gem. This may wear off within 1-2 weeks from general brushing and eating.
TOOTH GEM REMOVAL
Tooth gems can last anywhere between 2-24 months. If you wish to remove your tooth gem before it naturally falls off, it can easily be removed at your next professional routine dental clean. DO NOT remove it yourself.
Once your tooth gem does come away naturally, there may still be some residual adhesive remaining on the tooth. This can also easily be removed at your next professional routine dental clean.
Please note that like any foreign object, there is a small chance that the chosen tooth may reject the tooth gem.
